StarlightDaryl is a composer and orchestrator who travels the cosmos.She is not what you might expect from a modern classical composer. She is a VTuber - a creator who represents herself with an anime avatar. She is a queer woman raised in poverty in a first-generation immigrant family. She was not a prodigy, and showed no signs of musical talent as a child.But her father taught her something that changed everything: that the gifts of music and the stars belong to everyone.Inheriting her father's love for music and the stars - and his fierce DIY spirit - Daryl eventually taught herself composition through books and by studying the soundtracks of her favorite anime and games. She learned orchestration by attending symphony concerts and filling her notebooks with meticulous observations.Her music is a deeply personal expression of the universe: a romantic, emotional lens through which to explore humanity’s place within the vast, cold, and uncaring sublime of space.StarlightDaryl discovered VTubers during a dark time when the relentless pressures of the industry began eroding her love for music.She nearly quit.But then she found unexpected comfort and community in VTubers. Payments are typically split 50% upfront and 50% upon final delivery, via bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle. Flexible payments may be considered on a case-by-case basis. All payments are non-refundable.
Commercial Use
All of my commissions include an exclusive commercial license for VTubers. That means you are permitted to use the music in any monetized or non-monetized video content, as long as your VTuber is the focal point! However, this does not construe ownership of the music as an intellectual property; that is reserved by me.Please refer to the table below for usage guidelines:

The story begins with "The Girl Who Went to Space", a starry-eyed, comet chaser who longs to embark on a grand adventure to explore the universe - even at the cost of saying goodbye to her lover, who she leaves behind on Earth.

Saved from a black hole by a bizarre creature known as the Interstellar Narwhal, the Girl is thrown into a silly, whimsical galaxy of talking animals and tiny planets. Here, she reconnects with her childhood innocence, and learns a bittersweet truth: That the time she has wasted on her lover is what makes her more important than all the universe.

Desperate to reunite with her lover - even if decades may have already passed back on Earth due to the Girl's close encounter with the black hole - the Girl begs the Narwhal for help. The Narwhal takes her on a journey across time, and the two witness incredible stories once thought to only be ancient myths, and eventually landing somewhere on the other side of the universe...

A rogue black hole interferes with the Girl's journey home... and she lands at t=0, the very moment of the big bang. Now faced with the challenge of locating her lover's coordinates in spacetime whilst the universe expands, her connection to her lover is put to the test. Can love truly be quantified across space and time? Or is the Girl destined to wander the cosmos alone until time becomes meaningless?
